About Me

I realized words and sentences made the difference for my writing. I went from writing E letter grade papers to writing an A++ play.

I grew up in an oral tradition household telling stories around the kitchen table, and worked as a waitress, gas jockey, and then as a secretary. I completed my degree in English at Simon Fraser University whilst eating a lot of chocolate. I won an Award for Poetry: The judges for the poetry competition were Mayor Wright from the City of New Westminster, and one of only two Poet Laureates in Canada, Mr. Don Benson now Poet Meritorious.

I have also written the Secret Sauce of Sentences, a book for you on sentence structure. I have just put the finishing touches on a Romance Murder Thriller, Diamond. Diamond is available in both English and Spanish versions.
